Welcome to Urja Gurukul!
As the Director of Urja Gurukul, I feel immense pride in the journey we have embarked on together. Rooted in the dream I nurtured since childhood—to build a school that truly makes a difference—I am deeply committed to reimagining what meaningful education can look like.
Urja Gurukul was born—founded on 8th September 2023. Over the years, Urja Gurukul has grown beyond its physical structure. It has become a living space of curiosity, critical thinking, and care. The real transformation started when we started to deeply reflect on the core purpose of education. This led us to reevaluate our methods, embrace teacher development, and redesign the way learning takes place in our classrooms.
Our approach is student-centric—fostering a space where children feel safe to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop a genuine love for learning. Initiatives like Digital Literacy and Sexuality Education are not just added subjects, but integral parts of helping our students grow into informed, aware, and responsible individuals.

We believe that libraries are the soul of the school, and so we’ve ensured that reading is not just encouraged but embedded in our daily routine. Teachers are trained to treat library time with the same seriousness as other academic subjects.
Importantly, we understand that no educational approach can succeed without the active involvement of teachers and parents. Our philosophy is grounded in collaboration and mutual trust, aiming to build strong relationships between parents, teachers, and students.
At Urja Gurukul, academic excellence is pursued with compassion. We care deeply about the mental and emotional well-being of our children. Regular interactions with counselors and psychologists help us support each child as an individual, not just a student.
